Shenandoah
This arrangement begins with an acappella section in 4/4 time; when the piano enters, the meter changes to 12/8 and has more of a lilting feel. The 'straight' 4/4 returns later when the key shifts dramatically from Eb Major to E Major for the closing verse. The work ends with a quiet but stirring piano solo. The piano part is fun to play, and acts as a partner to the voices rather than doubling them.
