cover for Symphony No.31 In D 'paris' K.297 (study Score)
Symphony No.31 In D 'paris' K.297 (study Score)

Following nearly 4 years without having composed a new symphony, although still writing opera overtures and works from orchestral serenades, Mozart composed the Paris Symphony. Mozart received the commission from Joseph Legros, when him and his mother were in Paris in 1778.

Mozart composed the work for the largest orchestra hed written for until then in a symphony, marking the first time which he had used Clarinets in one of his symphonies. Mozart had taken pains to write the work in a style that would appeal to the French and, despite a dismal rehearsal, the first performance was well received.

Available here is a study score of Mozarts Symphony No.31 in D Paris K.297, which is ideal for study and perusal usage.
