O Come, Let Us Sing
Lee Dengler's triumphant setting of Psalm 95 is music of real power and scope. This significant anthem is a welcome addition to the repertoire of cathedral choral music. This piece calls us to sing and make a joyful noise with an opening fanfare that returns at the end. The middle section is both melodic and dramatic at places. The tremendous organ accompaniment adds a majestic exclamation point to this major new work, and can be played on piano as well. “O Come, Let Us Sing” is a big piece that will require some effort but will be well worth it as a musical call to praise of the highest order!
