Initiation To The Organ
French organist, composer and pedagogue, Rolande Falcinelli (1920-2006) studied at the Paris Conservatoire where her teachers included Henri Büsser and Marcel Dupré. Falcinelli led a successful career and therefore, her Initian to the Organ is very well-informed. Falcinelli's Initian to the Organ was compiled in 1971 and addresses features including a description of the console, general positioning, notation, the pedals, articulation, textures, the different sounds, performance directions, transitions between manuals and fingerings, among many other aspects. For all organists seeking to improve their technique, Falcinelli's Initian to the Organ will ensure progression.
