Fifteen Pieces - N 12 Hide And Seek
Written by Gabriel Pierné, Op. 3, No.12 Cache-Cache is the twelfth of a set of fifteen pieces for Piano. It was composed in 1883 and is ideal for intermediate players. This lovely piece holds the name of the children's game Hide & Seek.
Within the piece and after the introduction, right and left hands alternate the use of semiquavers going up and down continuously, the other hand playing mainly chords
In the series, this work is preceeded by two other pieces named after children's games and comes before a waltz in A.
Gabriel Pierné was a French composer and conductor, who mainly wrote some chamber music and some lyrical symphonies.
