Universal Edition replaces their 1999 edition with a new anthology of study scores containing choral works by Estonian minimalist, classical composer Arvo Pärt. This volume,containing 22 works total, is the most accurate representative of Pärt's work at present, including many new pieces as well as two selections from his major acappella work, Kanon Pokajanen. The collection was also created with three composer-approved CD recordings in mind: Arvo Pärt: Triodion (Hyperion Records CDA67375), Arvo Pärt:Choral Works (Virgin Classics 0724356243422), and Arvo Pärt: Da pacem (Harmonia Mundi HMU807401).
