Title |
Corpus Christi
The medieval poem Corpus Christi is a mysterious and haunting lullaby on the death of Christ. The words connect with the legend of the Holy Grail, and also with the liturgical feasts of Good Friday and Corpus Christi itself (on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday, usually in June). Malcolm HayesÂ's setting is suitable for both church and concert performance.
