A pleasant, flowing melody leads the piece onward, beckoning the listener to follow the warmth of a shining star to find true light. The writers have utilized the classic, “In the Bleak Midwinter” and updated it with a relevant new text, which points the church toward the coming year and the spiritual journeys lying ahead.
