From a high plateau, rising majestically from the dense jungles of Venezuela, cascades the incomparable Angel Falls. Nearly impossible to be approached except by helicopter, Angel Falls is the highest waterfall in the world, with a drop of 3,212 feet. Sondra Clark's musical depiction of this natural wonder is scored for piano duet (one piano, four hands). Full of rhythmic vigor and excitement, the piece ends with a scale passage that begins at the top note of the piano and ends on the lowest C. Great recital closer!
