A Little Book of Hours draws together six pieces for the elementary pianist. The pieces reflect on a day in the life of the Australian Aboriginal people, journeying from the "Evening Star" to the "Singing Sun."
The Night Pieces were first performed at the 1971 Festival of Perth, for which they were written. The music of these pieces is concerned with 'transformations of similar harmonic and motivic structures.
