Recorded by Chick Corea and Origin on the CD Change, Chick pays tribute to the hard bop era (and Miles Davis in particular) with this modal medium tempo blues. Mark Taylor's version for young players starts with a small group playing the head before the saxes take over on the second chorus. Including solo space for piano and also a flexible solo section with written samples for all players, this well-written chart will make any band sound polished. (Boosey & Hawkes)

Paul Jennings' masterful arrangement from 1982 sounds as fresh today as it did 20 years ago. The authentic sounds of Chick Corea's classic are faithfully captured and this new edition is notated in cut time (rather than 4/4) to make it much easier to read. A real gem for every jazz ensemble.
