Victory" is an exhilarating setting of the Easter hymn tune by Palestrina for 3-5 octaves handbell choir. It is a piece of celebration, written to celebrate the life of a special ringer. It is appropriate for general worship, Lent, Easter and festival occasions. Written in chorale prelude style, it incorporates much of the original material with the familiar hymn tune occupying a lesser role. The spirit is one of joy and exuberance.
