De Fossa largely transposed each piece to be more guitar-friendly, but some also remain in difficult keys, such as A-flat.Haydn's talent for keeping up with the musical trends of his time provided de Fossa with ample opportunity to pick and choose certain movements and fit them togetherstylistically.
