Whether used individually or in succession as a set, this pair of choral blessings, arranged by Benjamin Harlan, provides a lovely moment of warmth, sincerity, and intimacy at the close of a prayer or at the end of the worship service. “Two Prayers of Blessing” uses the familiar texts, “God Be in My Head” and “May the mind of Christ ...live in me (A Channel of God's Love).” Each is set simply, with flowing accompaniment, much unison, and warm, rich harmonies.
