The Prince and the Pauper
Mark Twain's beloved story about two look-alike lads in merry old England is the setting for this easy-to-stage, unison chorus (opt. 2nd and 3rd parts) operetta. Requires minimum cast of 13 including four principle singers, eight speaking parts and a non-speaking part. The chorus remains seated in the pit or in the front of the auditorium throughout the performance. Four-hand piano accompaniment with optional trumpet trio, solo flute or violin and finger cymbals. Grade Level: 6-9. Perf. Time: Approx. 75 minutes.
