Haydn - String Quartet No. 4 in B-flat Major, Sunrise, Op. 76 - Violin Play-Along Pack
Look Inside
The Sunrise, Haydn's fourth quartet in the op. 76 set, gets its popular name because, in the opening Allegro, the first violin rises slowly out of the sustained harmonies of its accompaniment to announce the principal theme - just as the sun rises out of the East, as it were. Contains a high-quality printed music score and a compact disc featuring the quartet in split-channel stereo with the violinist on the right channel; then again in an accompaniment version minus the solo violin part. Performed by Nicholas Milton, 1st violin Accompaniment: The Bedford String Quartet: Robert Zubrycki, 2nd violin; Kathleen Foster, viola; Arthur Fiacco, violoncello
