One Piano, Four Hands.

Diabelli's Melodic Exercises, Op. 149 have lasted for almost 200 years, and they are still very popular among today's pupils, teachers, and music lovers. This volume also contains a few newly composed pieces inspired by Diabelli's idea to make music with five fingers as varied as possible. The CD includes performance and accompaniment tracks in MIDI format.

This edition has a simplified secondo part arranged by Michele Wilt.

An attractive collection of 28 duets in which both hands of the primo part remain in set five-finger positions. Secondo parts are appropriate for more advanced students of the teacher. The keys employed are limited to those three sharps and flats.

Alto recorder and piano.

The Four Sonatinas Op. 151 and Seven Sonatinas Op. 168 have proved to be the most enduring of Diabelli's compositions because of their importance as study material for pianists in the intermediate grades. Approximately the same difficulty as Clementi's famous Six Sonatinas, Op. 36.
